The FREE Seaway NExT Workshop for faculty and graduate students is scheduled for Friday 4/17 from 3:00-5:00 PM and will be facilitated by Marie MacDonald (Cornell University) and Zoë Misiewicz (SUNY Oswego). This year’s teaching workshop will focus on motivating struggling students and teaching in hard times (students in crises and political changes). The session will be mostly discussion based; all levels of teaching experience are welcomed. Additional Notes: “NExT" is short for "New Experiences in Teaching." Seaway NExT is a great opportunity to network within our region and have conversations with peers about teaching. If you participate in the Seaway NExT workshop and you have been hired into the section in 2024, 2025, or 2026, your meeting registration fee and Saturday lunch fee will be reimbursed.

Please consider the option of donating $10 to support student expenses (registration and lunch fees are waived for undergraduate and graduate students unless they have a source of funding).
