2026 Fall Meeting – Registration

Thank you for your interest in attending the Fall 2026 Meeting of the MAA Seaway Section, held on Friday, October 23 and Saturday, October 24 at Utica University in Utica, NY!

Deadlines:

  • Talk Title and Abstract Submission: Friday, October 2
  • Friday Afternoon Workshop: Friday, October 2
  • Friday Evening Banquet Dinner: Friday, October 2
  • Saturday Lunch: Friday, October 2

Dietary Restrictions: Please indicate any dietary restrictions on the registration form so your needs can be accommodated. 

Friday 10/23 Program: 

  • Friday Workshop: Tentatively 3:00-5:00 PM (special registration required)
  • Registration and Social Hour with Cash Bar: Tentatively 5:00-6:00 PM (special registration required)
  • Banquet Dinner: Tentatively 6:00-7:00 PM (special registration required)
  • Banquet Lecture: Tentatively 7:00-8:00 PM (open to all)
  • Game Show: Tentatively 8:15-9:30 PM (open to all)

Note on Registration: You may still register for the meeting after Friday, October 2. You'll be able to register onsite when you arrive at the meeting, but you may not be able to attend the Friday evening banquet or the Saturday lunch since accurate counts for meals are needed ahead of time.  

Note on Payment: You will be directed to an online payment system after submitting your registration form.

Note on Talk Abstract Submission: If you selected that you will be making a presentation at the meeting (contributed talk or student talk), you will be given a link and login information in the confirmation email you receive after completing the registration form. This allows you to register for the meeting first and submit your title and abstract at a later date. Contributed talks and student talks will be 20-minute talks with 5 additional minutes for Q&A and 5 minutes for transition. 

Note on Classroom Technology for Contributed and Student Talks: There are computers and projectors in each room.

FOR STUDENTS WITH FUNDING FROM THEIR COLLEGE: By default, undergraduate and graduate students are NOT charged the $28 registration fee and are NOT charged the $10 Saturday lunch fee. This category allows students with a source of funding from their college/university to opt in to paying the $38 total for registration and Saturday lunch. Only students with a funding source from their college should select this option!!! NOTE: Everyone that selects the Friday evening banquet dinner on the registration form is charged the $35 Friday banquet dinner fee separately.
