- Parking: After 5:00 on Friday and all day Saturday, parking is free in any general (non-reserved/non-handicapped) space.
- For those arriving before 5:00 on Friday you will need to stop by the welcome center to pick up a visiting parking permit. https://www.rit.edu/parking/welcome-center
- The Banquet on Friday will be at 6:00p.m. in the FEMA/SLA Louise Slaughter Building (078), Room 2240. The best lot to park for this event is Parking Lot T.
- Saturday talks will be in the Gosnell Bulding (008-GOS), various locations. The best lot to park in is the U lot. If it is full the S lot can also work.
- Lunch on Saturday will be in the FEMA/SLA Louise Slaughter Building (078), Room 2240.

Nathan Reff

Nate leads a team of applied scientists at Relativity - a legal technology software company. At Relativity, Nate's team works on building innovative AI/ML solutions to help users organize data, discover the truth, and act on it. His research interests include spectral and algebraic graph theory, machine learning, information retrieval and large language models. Before joining Relativity, Nathan was an Associate Professor and Graduate Director of Mathematics at SUNY Brockport and also worked as a ML Engineer and Principal Investigator at CUBRC. Prior to this, Nathan was also an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Alfred University. Nate received his Ph.D. in Mathematics from Binghamton University, and both BS and MS degrees in Applied Mathematics from Rochester Institute of Technology. He lives in Rochester, NY with his wife Melanie (whom he met at RIT) and children Elias, Veronica, Kassia and Alexei.

Sarah Hanusch

Sarah Hanusch is an associate professor of mathematics with a specialization in mathematics education from SUNY Oswego. Her primary research interests lie in the instruction of proof-intensive undergraduate courses. She is also an advocate for active learning pedagogy and is an officer of GUNYIBL Consortium. Outside of work, Sarah is known as: the mother of two young boys, an excellent cook and baker, and a licensed Zumba® instructor.

Audrey Malagon is Senior Director for Programs at the Mathematical Association America where she oversees a range of programs in support of the MAA’s mission to “advance the understanding of mathematics and its impact on our world.” Previously she was Professor and Chair of the Mathematics Department at Virginia Wesleyan University and Chair of Academic Assessment as well as chair of the MAA’s Council on Teaching and Learning. From 2018-2022 she served as mathematical advisor to Verified Voting where she combined her technical expertise and administrative capabilities to advance initiatives, including the passage of the first pre-certification risk-limiting audit legislation in Virginia. At home, she has two stubborn but wonderful children, a husband Mark, and a mouthy husky who bosses us all around. Audrey holds a Ph.D. in mathematics from Emory University.
