Have you met any of the excellent undergraduate teachers that we have in our section? If so, have you thought about nominating them for the MAA Seaway Section Clarence Stephens Section Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching, supported by the Carol Crawford Teaching Award fund?
Nominations start out simple – contact the person and confirm that they are willing to be considered for the award. Nominees must be an MAA member in order to be considered for the award. Nominators will later be contacted and asked to supply 5 letters of support for the nominee from colleagues, and they must write a summary.
